This involves using a frame buffer to store the multiplexed image stream in. The frame buffer then drives a video head, which produces video suitable for conversion to analog composite video. One solution to this problem is to equip the SparcServer with one or more VGA video heads, as fitted to cheaper SparcStation Classics, and then convert the VGA output to composite video. Other more elegant solutions are being sought.
