Obviously I didn't catch up to this RFC. I haven't seen much comment
on it through this forum, is the rest of the world in favor of it?

If so, as per the item I posted yesterday on rlogin v.s. telnet, is it
worth reopening the discussion of about a year ago, and doing an RFC
on the options to have better flow control and pass exactly the ASCII
representation of the key the user pressed? On my systems the
interpretation of the end-of-line still causes whole bunches of headaches
with certain (allright, archaic) software packages that differentiate
between a <CR> and <LF>, and use both.
