15 pin ethernet connectors

I agree with Ben Woznick's comment "... worst human engineered..." about
the sliding lock and posts on the 15 pin ethernet connectors (IEEE 802.3
standard??). Then again the old RS232C screw and threaded inserts are not
satisfactory either. Connectors used on MACs, PS/2s etc are OK but
I believe its time someone comes up with a decent connector design -
push it in and it locks securely, press on the sides gently and pull and
it pops out - similar to some IBM printer connectors but better.
