We had a demo of a Xyplex Terminal Server. It does IP, but it does not do
DECNET, but something similar to, but incompatible with DEC's LAT (Ethernet
terminal server transport, which requires physical ethernet connectivity).
They swore that they would be doing real LAT Real Soon Now, so we said "Call
us back when it does." They do require a host to download from, DEC-style,
even for the telnet code.
