Robin, You should read Doug Comer's new book on TCP/IP. "Internetworking
with TCP/IP, Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-470154-2.

And, you should come to Monterey next Monday to attend
a two day seminar on TCP Performance taught by Van Jacobsen
and Mike Karels of Berkeley. My company, Advanced Computing
Envrionments is sponsoringn it, so I have some prejudice.
next week is probably too son for any bureaucracy to move,
but it is really your best bet for getting tons of good info in
a hurry.
