KA9Q TCP/IP on a Mac?

I just tried running the current release of KA9Q TCP/IP
(fresh off of simtel20) on a Mac. Specifically it was
a Mac Plus with 1 Meg of memory, running System 4.2 and
Finder 6.0.

The TCPIP program comes up with a console window and a
KA9Q logo and prompt, which immediately line feeds itself
up and off the screen (with no input from the keyboard).
The program is unresponsive and the Mac has to be rebooted.

Any suggestions?
