I have had the misfortune of having to cross the MILNET/ARPANET boundary for
the past two months. I don't think the problems are related to the new PSN
software, since I am not seeing that much of a difference since it was
installed. Also, things are moving right along when I stay on the MILNET or
the ARPANET. The gateways must be incredibly overloaded; I see lots of packet
loss when pinging across the boundary.

A question for those with the data: How evenly spread is the load among the
ARPA/MILNET gateways?
