Could anyone let me know about the difference between ISO 8473
(protocol for providing the connectionless-mode network service)
   and the DARPA IP?

A document put out by the National Research Council in 1985 briefly
describes the differences between the DoD IP and ISO IP pp 18-24.
The report is mostly dedicated to the comparison between TCP and
TP4 but has a small section on the two IP comparison.
"Transport Protocols for Department of Defense Data Networks",
Report to the Department of Defense and the Bureau of Standards.
Committee on Computer-Computer Communication Protocols,
Board on Telecommunications and Computer Applications,
Commission on Engineering and Technical Systems, National Research
Council.
NATIONAL ACADEMY PRESS, Washington, D.C. February 1985.

Hope this is helpful.
