I tried to send an article into the tcp-ip mailing list (twice) and
I keep getting the mail back....(with some headers removed) here is

        Well, I for one have been one of the more vociferous critics of
the WIN/VX product for quite some time. I have seen too many sites complain
of brain-damage and poor support. In addition, we ran the 2.3 version against
the Tek-CMU code and the WIN/VX just couldn't cut it.

        HOWEVER, given the current number of sites running 3.0 and saying it
is quite capable, and the kind of response TWG has been putting forth
(witness Dave Crocker's article) and the very good experience support-wise
reported from new 3.0 sites, I think I might reserve judgement.

        Now, if only they can make it as inexpensive as the Tek-CMU code
        :-).......
