MVS TCP-IP Implementations

We need to run TCP/IP over an ethernet LAN between superminis running
(essentially) 4.3BSD and IBM/compatible mainframes running MVS.
Currently evaluating Network Solutions' DDN/MVS and Simware's SIM3278.
Any comments, suggestions etc. regarding these products or alternatives
would be much appreciated. Particularly interested in performance;
we may end up using FTP to transfer some sizeable files on a regular
basis. Read this newsgroup religiously but if you'd rather mail send to
