If you are running MVS on the IBM system, you may want to consider using
UCLA's Arpanet Control Program (ACP) software to drive an ACC IF/370E Ethernet
adapter. The IF/370E seems to work well, and the UCLA code required no changes
to support it (in fact, UCLA is considering buying an IF/370E also.) We have
had occasional problems with the hardware, but ACC has been quite responsive.
