The 4.2 Unix Telnet client (user) responds to a "DO ECHO" with a "WILL ECHO"
(and then, of course, doesn't REALLY echo network data). This has been fixed
in 4.3 Unix.
The question is: are there any other Telnet client implementations which
respond to "DO ECHO" with "WILL ECHO"?
(why - I would like the 4.3 Telnet server to be able to distinguish between
wounded 4.2 clients and the rest of the world - and I won't apologize
too much for this attempt at compatibility)
