good point about addressing. The commercial world is struggling with
dial-up X.25 which is now being standardized as X.32 - the problem is
to identify the caller and to bind the identity to the X.25 address.
One might contemplate "logical IP" addresses which are assigned to the
caller once the caller is suitable authenticated. Then comes the problme
or initiating calls to this "floating"logical IP address - has many
of the same problems as the problem of internet routing when a network
in the internet becomes partitioned.
