We need to purchase about 300 meters of ethernet cable and are looking
for a good inexpensive (not cheap! :-)) source. Our previous source
delivered cable with connectors which simply screwed onto the ends. We have
sometimes had problems with these coming off as the transceiver is attached.
What we would really like is what (I believe) is called "crimp" type
connectors (like what you get from Inmac I think) and it's hard for me to
believe that we have to pay Inmac prices in order to get them.
Any ideas? You should probably send directly to me. If anyone thinks
a summary to the net is necessary, I'll be glad to oblige.
