Can anyone answer on what does an old '11 need to connect to the net?

Ref our pre-survey of Osan and Kunsan AB for milnet nodes.
We have been informed that the milnet installations for the two sites will
consist of a TAC and IMP. This would not include an Electronic
Mail Host. We are exploring the possibility of picking up a
potentially excess PDP 11/70 computer (configuration unknown).

What would have to be done to have this type of system configured to act
as a mail host? What is the requirement for disk space? How many comm
ports are required? What is the RAM requirement? We would be interested in

using either the same or a similiar software package presently used on the
Korea Electronic Mail Host.
