Oop, you are absolutely right. My intent was to point out that ARPANET itself
is legitimate to advertise on the part of both the core and non-core gateways
sharing it. While RFC-904 specifies what a non-core gateway must do, there is
no specification on what a core gateway must do; therefore, we can't beat up
those villans for sending your net back to you. A reasonable sketch of a core-
gateway specification might conclude that is, indeed, broken. My foo-paw was a
thlip of the thongue.
